An exceptional set of eight Niels Otto Møller Model 82 dining chairs, designed in 1962 and often referred to as ‘The Embassy’ chairs — a name that reflects their refined, almost architectural presence. Crafted in solid teak, the Model 82 is celebrated for its sculptural frame and beautifully balanced proportions. The gently curved backrest flows seamlessly into subtly tapered rear legs, creating that unmistakable floating lightness that defines Møller’s work. The joinery is precise and elegant, showcasing the craftsmanship of J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, one of Denmark’s most respected cabinetmakers of the 20th century.

We have professionally reupholstered this set in genuine tan leather, chosen specifically to complement the warmth of the teak. The leather adds depth, texture and a soft contemporary contrast while remaining true to the mid-century aesthetic.
