Designed by G-Plan in the late 1960s, the famous Model 6250 lounge chair—often nicknamed the “Blofeld chair” for its James Bond film connection—is a true mid-century icon. This sculptural armchair has been fully restored and reupholstered in a nice blue velvet that adds richness and sophistication. Its enveloping seat provides maximum comfort, while the swivel and rocking base with castors offers both flexibility and ease of movement. A bold design statement, it embodies the futuristic aesthetic of 1960s Britain and remains highly collectible today. The base is in rosewood, adding a depth of color to this gorgeous and comfortable lounge chair.

The chair has had it’s frame professionally restored and it has been reupholstered in a high-quality, durable and easy to maintain velvet fabric. During our upholstery process we replace the old foam and webbing with new, modern standard foam to ensure longevity, durability and to meet the modern standards. Base refinished and mechanisms checked for smooth function.
